BACKGROUND
Saturday, August 7, 2021, the state’s “Historic Sites Board of Review” approved, by its members’ motion, the formal “listing” of the county-owned First Christian Church property as a “historic” property. The Board of Riley County Commissioners had appeared through present counsel at that hearing and opposed such “listing” unsuccessfully.
